What are we learning?

Te Ao Māori is an important part of life in our Auraki classroom. These are key elements: karakia, waiata, mihi and pepeha, Whare Tapa Whā, Ngā Uara o te kura, and Maramataka. By attending to these things, we aim to be culturally responsive, and to meet the learning expectations as set out in the New Zealand Curriculum
